Winter dreams flutter about.
Snow flurries, hot chocolate, a wood burning stove....
Holidays on the horizon, gift wrapping, christmas carols...
And maybe, just maybe, we might catch sight of a sugar plum fairy, or two...

Following the stairs, oh those autumn stairs...
To a place, deep inside. A place where our dreams and visions are realized...
That is where I shall see you, on this very haunted night....

Only in the depths of one's heart, does the truth live. A person finds a reason for existing, a passion, a love.
On that stage, people found themselves, and felt whole...
And so, time passes, walls crumble, moments are lost...
But, there are those who shall never leave. Those who dare not venture out of the place that filled their being.
Not in life, and not after.
From time to time, if you are lucky, you just might catch a glimpse of where they chose to stay...
Forever more.

She left us in July, 194 years ago...
But what she left behind....
Well, I needn't tell you, I'm sure.
Quite certain in fact.
Tales and thoughts, in words a plenty.
Enough to fill the hearts of millions of girls and boys...
Sigh.....
So lovely.
Thank goodness others have taken to interpreting her written art so beautifully, as to continue sharing the gift of Jane...

A simple place to sleep, really...
Nothing too fancy.
Oh no, not too fancy at all.
When can we move in?
Oh today you say?

As a dreamer, you can go anywhere. You can envelop yourself in far away air, its taste, its moisture. You close your eyes and feel the breeze of distant places. You can disappear at anytime. It is your gift.
Today you live here.
It is your home.
Deep in the woods.
In a fairytale of sorts.
What tales you must have...

In a castle in the forest is where she had lived for a hundred years or more. Never aging a day. Not even a touch of grey whispered a hint of passing time her way...
Her castle began to crumble.
Crawling vines replaced stone walls...
She lived on berries and seeds...
And fruit off the trees...
Sipping water from the clearest stream...
She was friends with fauns and winged beings...
How did she get there, alone in that castle?
And, where had everyone gone?
Was she you?
Was she me?
She walked up the stairs to her bedroom, day after day, locking the door behind her -
Wondering if she would ever wake up, from what seemed like the longest dream...
A never-ending dream, in an abandoned castle, deep in a forest green...
Is this a place where you have been?
That space between real, and everything else?
You tell me.

We had a lovely time, me and my little friends...
I even took up playin' guitar. With strings here, I'm in lovin'.
We got to sing so much, on this lovely little voyage...
A journey back in time you see...
To the Great Depression Era...
Now it's time to tend the garden...
Maybe buy some groceries...
And spruce up our little house.
