I have always had long hair (except for when my mother cut it above my neckline when I was five years old...oh...and also when I was 17 I trimmed my hair up to the middle of my back and cut my bangs!) But, I grew it out again and it took ever so long to reach my waist again.
You can tell that these ladies braided their hair a lot because of the ripples in their hair. I, too, braid my hair every night before going to bed. It keeps the ends from splitting and keeps it growing longer.
They say a woman's hair is her glory...whatever that really means, I have no clue...but it is suppose to have something to do with angels who watch over us as the more gentle sex. I doubt they used that word in Victorian days! Ha!

I've always had long hair, but that is outrageous! It reminds me of Rapunzel, but doesn't look as healthy as magical flower hair from Tangled...haha. Oh those gypsies!
